1-day Advanced Course in Nonviolent Communication.

Ever wanted to just punch someone in the face? Do you wonder why you get so triggered and it’s so hard to be with people who hold extreme beliefs/ideas from you?

When we see someone as the Enemy, it is easier for us to diagnose and label them, dismiss or blame them. Everything they say and do becomes a trigger. It makes it more difficult to connect with them and understand/tolerate their behaviour/motivations.

In this one-day advanced NVC course you will learn how to cultivate compassion and see their behaviour as a tragic expression of their un-met needs.

You will be guided to develop empathy by putting yourself in the shoes of the other, deeply connecting to them and understanding the preciousness of their un-met needs.

You will also explore your own needs that have been at play, bringing more self-understanding and self-compassion.

Through role-play and interactive exercises we will explore being human, being in conflict, examine our own fixed ideas, and find ways to melt the resistance to seeing others as human just like us.

This Advanced course is only available for graduates of a foundation training in Nonviolent Communication.
