COMING UP NEXT……
Thursday 8 January

Václav Havel: Living in Truth
Refusing the Lie
Czech playwright-president Havel taught that dissent begins with refusing to live the lie. We’ll explore how embodied integrity—speaking and living our truth—becomes political resistance. When we honor our need for authenticity and self-expression, we challenge systems built on compliance and pretense.

Thursday 15 January 2026

Dorothy Day: The Long Loneliness
Contemplation as Radical Action
Day founded the Catholic Worker movement, wedding mysticism with activism. We’ll explore how her life demonstrates that meeting our needs for meaning, contribution, and spiritual connection fuels rather than distracts from meeting collective needs for justice, shelter, and dignity.

NO SESSION 22 JANUARY 2026

Thursday 29 January 2026 (recovered from cancelled Thursday 18 December 2025)

Joanna Macy: Active Hope & the Spiral
Despair and Hope as Partners
Macy teaches that despair and hope aren’t opposites but stages in a spiral of engagement. We’ll practice her Work That Reconnects as embodied NVC response to global crisis—honoring pain, celebrating life, seeing with new eyes, and going forth with renewed commitment.
