WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? ● Richness and diversity During the first two European Intensive Education Courses, participants came from several countries! This wide cultural diversity contributes greatly to the exploration of others experiences. ● Depth and width Throughout the many sessions (workshops and joint meetings), we explore together a consciousness based on the needs in all aspects of education: relation to oneself, to others and to life, relation to internal resources and external. We explore what education is and what it can be, practically. Nothing will be left out and all contributions will be welcome. ● Community trainers: Our goal is to practice equality in our group of trainers within the community, as we explore and create ideas together. We recognise the different talents and passions we bring into the course. This diversity proves to be an important element of the EIEC.
HOW? The student ratio is limited to 10 participants per trainer. The program is intensive. While some participants’ skills and NVC consciousness are beyond the first few levels, others are starting their NVC journey. The course is designed to promote assimilation and continuity of work throughout the year following.
In addition to the nine days of training in July, there is the opportunity for small groups to stay in active contact at least once a week and be supervised by a trainer once a month.
Some objectives of our program: ● explore and identify personal core beliefs and create new cognitive structures directly from our vital needs; ● reduce the level of suffering endured by our system to generate satisfactory and responsible lives; ● honour leadership models 'power with' (for example, using Open Space Technology and Systemic Consensing); ● transform the fear of failure, clear the system of domination and promote abundance consciousness; ● overcome chronic struggles and "over activity" and shift towards fluidity and ease in our lives.
WHAT IS INCLUDED? ● a course of a week and a half of practice in the breathtaking beauty of Languedoc Roussillon (France) in July 2017; ● small groups encouraged to communicate and interact weekly or more throughout the following year ; ● If desired, a ‘buddy’ system to support the implementation of strategies.
The European Intensive Education Course takes place in Montolieu, 20 km from Carcassonne, France. This course and our training materials were developed by a team of professionals. Our themes are based on communication research, psychology and pedagogy. They refer to neuroscience, humanistic (including Carl Rogers) and cognitive theories. Training is rich and vibrant, with theoretical and hypothetical situations.

PEACE FACTORY, MONTOLIEU As you can see from the photo, home to the Peace Factory is an unusual 1950's factory nestling in the green vegetation of the French "Midi". The vision held by the Peace Factory is a world where personal, social and global well-being is at the heart of peaceful living, and having held other NVC courses here, we're confident that it's an ideal site to hold this retreat. Even in the intense heat of July in the Languedoc-Roussillon, there are always cool places in the building and by the river!
TRAVEL 20km from the host site is "Carcassonne Salvaza Airport", with direct flights with Ryanair from London Stansted, Dublin, Shannon, Belgium (Charleroi), Cork, Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester. Toulouse International Airport (British Airways, EasyJet, SAS, Lufthansa, etc...) is about 80km from Montolieu, in which case you'll need to allow an extra hour and a half for transfer and train journey to Carcassonne station. By train: There is a train station at Carcassonne (SNCF French train network)
