Join us for a day of discovery and practice with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) — a life-changing approach to communication that helps us connect more deeply with ourselves and others. Whether you’re completely new to NVC or looking to build on your existing practice, this day offers a supportive space to explore and grow.

NVC is rooted in the intention to communicate from a place of compassion rather than defensiveness or attack. Together, we’ll work with real-life examples to uncover what underlies the words and actions of others, and to express what truly matters to us in ways that can be heard. At the heart of NVC is the understanding that we always have a choice in how we respond — and this practice helps us access and embody that choice.

During the day, you’ll learn and practice skills such as:

  • Understanding ourselves with compassion and clarity

  • Reducing habitual reactivity

  • Listening deeply to understand what others are really trying to express, even when it’s challenging

  • Standing our ground while sustaining a compassionate presence

  • Speaking honestly in ways that invite understanding
