An opportunity to live and practice Compassionate Communication over several days spent in a beautiful and secluded venue in Surrey. Jill and Richard will share practical processes allowing us to explore our connection with others in life. A particular focus of the workshop will be to facilitate a safe and inclusive community which provides a supportive environment for personal exploration and sharing. The workshop will focus on establishing and cultivating for ourselves an embodied experience of compassion. It will include
  • Practices to deepen self-compassion and self-acceptance
  • Cultivating understanding and awareness of how the qualities of the heart we call longings live in us and are the key to living the fullness of life
  • Living and speaking from fullness rather than deficiency
The retreat will be held at Ladywell Retreat and Spirituality Centre which is an oasis of peace and tranquility, set in stunning countryside in the heart of Surrey and within easy reach of London and the South East. It is a place where you can find space and freedom to explore your own deep desires, values and beliefs in a reflective atmosphere. Booking Information Numbers are limited to no more than 24. The cost is £350 fully inclusive. All accommodation is single rooms and all meals will be vegetarian. Arrival time 17.00 on Thursday 21st July, departure after lunch on Sunday 24th July. Comments from recent participants at Richard and Jill's workshops: There were several points in the workshop when I had a profound realisation that my communication with others could be different/better, and it gave me a new determination and inspiration to develop.  Paul Just really appreciated the sensitivity, intelligence and diplomacy and empathy!  Julia I enjoyed the gentle, warm, and engaging style of both of you. You complement each other very well in style of delivery and content.  Paul There were lots of excellent opportunities to practice what we were being introduced to.  John It helped me to find the way to express my emotions, to understand other people and their feelings. It was a new experience for me, it touched me very deep down and showed a new way of dealing with myself, how to be more positive and more open.  Marlena
