- Role Plays of Difficult Conversations
About self empathy
We will use the 4 steps of empathy practice, which you can recap here.
About Empathic Listening
This is the skill of holding space for someone when they are trying to process and understand something that has happened. It’s the skill of reflecting back and guessing feelings and needs in supportive ways. It’s also a helpful skill for meetings that are getting derailed or stuck.
Before you come, you can watch this short video about Reflecting back with Effectiveness and Ease
About Role Play
Role Play is a practice to give you an embodied experience of NVC inspired dialogue. Before you come to the Role Play session, you can review your input from your Foundation training and read or listen to this short post about the purpose and practice of roleplay
Practical and Logistics
This is a drop in, you can come once or every month or something in between.
If the cost is a barrier to you, please get in touch for a discount code, to pay £2 or £5
These practice sessions aren’t refundable. I have experimented with them being transferable, but it was a lot of work, with many people wanting to transfer. So I will now experiment with them NOT being transferable, except in exceptional circumstances.
