This monthly practice group is a space to deepen our capacity to stay present in the midst of conflict.

Rooted in Nonviolent Communication and the restorative work of Dominic Barter
(Restorative Circles), the group is largely experiential. We explore real relational dynamics
through role-plays, one-to-one dialogues, and whole-group processes. We then debrief
together, offering reflection and feedback to distil insight and embodied learning.

Recently, my exploration has centred around differentiation — the ability to stay with and
remain curious about what is happening inside ourselves without immediately assigning
meaning or blame externally. This capacity is crucial if we want to move through conflict in
ways that protect integrity while also making intimacy possible.

This is not a theory group. It is a place to practise:

  • Staying connected to yourself when emotions rise
  • Listening without collapsing or defending
  • Speaking honestly without attacking
  • Allowing difference without losing connection

The group meets once a month.
Next session:
Saturday 14th March
9:30am – 12:30pm
