Grief and Anger series for Women

Grief is often not the first emotion. Anger often comes first. Think about how a child runs across the road without looking at the cars, once the child is safely caught up with, a parent is likely to be angry ..'Why did you do that? Didn't you see the car?! Never do that again!'
Grief can also be hard to access, and it lives beneath a multitude of different responses, other than anger ... irritation, numbness ... even optimism.
This is a session to focus on anger, intensity and to bring the 'jackals' out in order to access the grief that lies underneath them; for participants to come and say 'This is what I am angry about' and feel safe enough for this to be heard, accepted and held tenderly, without judgement.
The sessions will involve space for Grief, Anger, Numbness and Emptiness. There will be empathy, space and support for all expression.
This can be particularly helpful if you have a habitual, reactive response to a situation. Having space for this anger, outside of the situation itself, can protect others in that situation and help you find a more effective solution to the dilemma you find yourself in.
This is a series of 4 sessions, one per month, for a closed group of 6.
