Who is this Gathering for? For anyone who has been inspired by NVC and has a strong interest in creating more collaborative systems that support connection between people for NVC consciousness to thrive in London. This is not a practice group or training in NVC. We will be discussing  project ideas and coordinating mechanisms and the day will be held with NVC consciousness. How this gathering came about: Over recent times, many of us have been aware of the need for greater connectivity amongst NVC sharers and practitioners in London and this year alone there have been discussions, hangout spaces, dinners, picnics in the park, (and there will be a film showing on Nov 27th), as well as the more traditional workshops and trainings. Alongside this you may also be aware that the global NVC network is reorganising itself. On 4-6th November, there was an NVC UK trainer gathering to discuss this reorganisation process and NVC in the UK.  (From London, there was Daren de Witt, Tracy Seed, Jill Broadbent, Carolyn Davies and Ceri Buckmaster present.  Maria Arpa and David Ellis also dropped by on the Friday.) Our London 26th November gathering is an opportunity to share how this vision  can inspire us and explore ideas for local (and global) collaboration. One key element of the new Global network (NVC-O) is that everyone is empowered to do what they feel is necessary.   Outline for the Afternoon

  • What has inspired, enabled and been a barrier to us on our NVC journeys?
  • What NVC-inspired activities are currently happening?
  • How do we currently coordinate and communicate between activities?
  1. Global NVC-Organisation
  • Feedback from 4th – 6th November NVC UK trainer gathering to discuss the New Futures process and possibilities for the UK network.

  1. What next for NVC in London?

  • Explore ideas and opportunities: What can you do alone, what can you do with a bit of support, what can we do together?
  • Consider how these aspirations might be achieved, what structures and coordinating mechanisms are needed, and agree on next steps
  • Celebrate.
  What to bring?
