- Would you like to bring more peace and compassion to your relationships and your life?
- Would you like to find new ways to communicate and resolve conflicts?
- Would you like to be able to understand and meet more of your needs and those of the people around you – in your family, at work, in the community?
This two day weekend non-residential workshop will give you an understanding of the key concepts and principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). You will learn about some practical tools and methods to help you connect with your underlying needs and values and those of the people around you, so that you will be able to approach relationships – and yourself – with greater understanding, choice and compassion.
We will work in pairs and small groups, reflecting on and using our own experiences. There will be plenty of opportunities to practice your new skills in a safe, friendly environment.
The number of participants is limited to 12.
Babies-in-arms (non-mobile) are welcome in the workshop, to support the participation of parents.
Cost: £120 per person; a limited number of places at £100 are available for those on a low income. Contact Clare if the cost is preventing you from booking – some flexibility may be possible. A deposit of £20 will secure your place.
You will receive a certificate at the end of the course and attendance will give you access to further Nonviolent Communication courses for which a Foundation is a requirement.
Clare Palmer is a certified NVC trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication and has been living and integrating NVC for over 15 years.
Some feedback from Clare’s previous workshop participants:
Wow! I feel really much more connected to myself and my heart, and have much more understanding of the NVC process.

I thought Clare was really great – I liked how you really listened to everyone and didn’t make anyone feel like what they were saying was ‘wrong’ and you had a really gentle and wise way of putting ideas across.

I felt much more connected to Clare and to other participants than I’ve ever felt in a flip-chart seminar environment before! Despite often finding it difficult sharing in groups I felt comfortable here.

Very helpful. Even managed to start applying the principles to a tricky family relationship straight away. I also felt it has helped to deepen my parenting and close relationship with my husband.
