All age weekend: What is my part in co-creating a world that works for all?

Our intention is to co-create a fun, nurturing, caring weekend for all ages. It’s an opportunity to share time together in a non-judgmental, compassionate environment with a lot of laughter and fun, and space to learn and challenge ourselves. This is an exciting new offering for us, and alongside the usual walks, games, gatherings, fires, all age activities, and anything else we all want to do, we’d like to invite you to get stuck in with as much or little as you’d like of discovery about your unique place in the world. We don’t have a leadership team so that we can share the power to influence what happens, and to keep costs to a minimum. Rather, anyone who wants to influence what we do is invited to offer any ideas or activities that you would like to share, or to give support to others by feeding back on their ideas. Some of that’s done through a facebook group before the weekend, supplemented by a call if there’s energy for it. The rest is decided with the group each morning we’re away. Someone might dig out an exercise on overcoming blocks to achieving our purpose in the world whilst someone else isn’t interested and wants to head off on a group walk. Someone might have a guitar and like to do songs round the fire.  Someone might want to help younger community members to know how to channel their world changing energy. Someone might want adult sharing space and ask if anyone would facilitate it. And so on… Previous weekends have included play in the extensive outdoor space, clay sculpture in nature, bonfires, singing, walks, adult space for support and learning, art and all age games. This one is likely to have more space on the topic of co-creating a world that works for all. It’s also fine to come without any particular things to bring, and just wanting to be part of the group.
