The Caravan
The Caravan is an informal co-creative Nonviolent Communication (NVC) gathering of like-minded people to share and celebrate Nonviolent Communication in a safe and open environment with a diverse international group. The Caravan is open to those who are new to NVC and curious. A unique opportunity for immersion in the NVC paradigm.

Here you can:

  • learn more about applying NVC in your personal and professional lives and among friends, family and groups
  • learn about applying NVC principles in organisations
  • provide your workshop if you are a more experienced NVC practitioner
  • record a video of your workshop for your certification
  • test a new program
  • share your insights if you are experienced in NVC
  • make new friends, find empathy buddies or new collaborators for projects

Social time together is an important part of the Caravan and there will be plenty of opportunities to socialise.

The Caravan will be held in the peaceful and welcoming Monkstown Quaker Meeting House in the beautiful coastal area of Monkstown.

Please let us know if you would like to give a workshop or help in some other way, for instance by supporting the hosting of the event. We would be happy to accept your volunteer support.

Getting there
FROM ABROAD
Air: Flights from the UK or Europe to Dublin Airport (Bus connections to Dublin city centre)

Accommodation
Dublin is a popular international destination so there are plenty of places to stay, including luxury and budget options, depending on how you were imagining your break! Places to stay are available from €50 per night in the locality on air b n b or booking.com. We will provide a WhatsApp group so that people can self-organise accomodation options.

Food and Drink

There are lots of good cafes in Monkstown beside the venue as well as supermarkets nearby if you would like to grab something to eat. We invite you to join us for a meal out on Saturday night. This, as well as the Sunday morning excursion in the Monkstown area are of course optional.
