Make A Donation to NVC Matters UK

NVC Matters UK is a not-for-profit community interest company.

Our vision is a regenerative world in which power and resources are shared and each person's need’s matter

Our mission is to help grow awareness in the UK of the benefits of learning Nonviolent Communication (NVC) originated and created by Dr Marshall Rosenberg.

We are funded by the sale of resources in our shop, website membership fees, any surplus from running our annual gathering and directly from you.

We welcome donations however big or small

We operate with volunteers, specialist consultants and facilitators committed to growing awareness in the UK of NVC. We can't do this without financial resources. For example:

  • £5pm could fund one volunteer to use the software we use that enables us to collaborate together
  • £10pm could help us offer facilitator members  discounted membership fees so that they can in turn reduce their training fees for those who couldn't otherwise afford the training.
  • A lump sum of £15,000 could fund website development or help us get creative in how we support NVC being learned by those who most need it.

Our current activities include:

  • Operating and developing this website which acts as a hub to connect those who want to learn NVC with those who teach it.
  • Offering NVC resources via the Online Shop
  • Putting out regular newsletters and social media posts to help us be found
  • Training volunteers to work within a collaborative, non-hierarchical structure, using Holacracy
  • Leading an annual gathering for NVC Facilitators and enthusiasts to develop their skills and connect to others for collaboration

Expenses

Our expenses include the cost of website design, development and hosting; venue hire for our annual gathering, accountancy, insurance, legal fees; software for operating Holacracy; administrative costs, expenses for volunteers and some trainer and consultancy fees.

Bursary Fund

Our Bursary Fund is to make NVC consultancy, training and coaching available to those who are not in a position to afford this service. We would really value your support in making this happen!

The Listening Hour

The Listening Hour is an independent peer-run, free weekly 1-hour connection and empathy space, hosted by volunteers who have some experience in Nonviolent Communication. NVC Matters UK CIC supports this initiative by contributing 75% of any donations ear-marked 'Listening Hour' or 'LH'
