LED BY Daren De Witt
Certified Facilitator

On this intermediate level NVC workshop we will explore how to connect with ourselves and others when we mess up! We will explore how we talk to ourselves and what is going on for us internally. We will also look at how we can connect with the people who have been impacted by our actions and how we can express our regret in a connected and connecting way.
Themes covered will include:
– How we connect with ourselves when we make mistakes, exploring and practicing the concepts and dynamics of the ‘inner educator’ and ‘inner chooser’ as defined by Marshall Rosenberg.
– What it means to ‘mourn’ in NVC.
– Judgemental apology vs life-connected apology.
– Expressing our regret in a life-connected way.
Facilitator
This training will be facilitated by Daren De Witt. Daren has been living and practicing NVC since the year 2000. Daren trained extensively with Marshall Rosenberg, the creator of NVC, between the years 2000-2006. He has been a certified trainer with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) since 2003, and has run NVC trainings regularly in London since that time. What is the NVC London Intermediate Training Programme?
The NVC London Intermediate training programme consists of 12 days of training across the course of a year, one day per month. We have focused on making the programme as flexible as possible. Each training stands alone, so you can attend as few or as many of the days as you wish. The programme will most likely repeat every year, so you can start at any point during the year and following the training through to completion for yourself the following year. You can also attend any days you miss during one year in the following year.
The trainings will be facilitated by five London-based certified NVC trainers. Each trainer is facilitating approx two training days from the programme. So you will be able to enjoy the individual perspective, understanding and specialism of each trainer. We hope you will enjoy the richness of the themes and trainer input that this programme offers.
Intention
To deepen your understanding and experience of NVC in theory and practice. Sustained input over the course of a year will support you to integrate and embody NVC more fully in your life.
Prerequisite
Participants will be expected to have completed a two day foundation training in NVC, or equivalent. This will ensure a common foundation for intermediate level engagement and practice.
Facilitated by five London-based certified NVC trainers
Carolyn Davies, Cath Burke, Ceri Buckmaster, Daren De Witt and Tracy Seed.
