I am a public trainer, teacher, counsellor and certified trainer with the Centre for Nonviolent Communication often referred to as Compassionate Communication. I have 30 years experience in education, parenting and consultancy. A wide experience of conference speaking, working one to one and with groups.
I have a reputation for inspiring participants and being passionate about what I speak about. I integrate all of my work with the values and principles of Nonviolent Communication [NVC]. I am passionate about this unique model of communication and know from experience how it applies to every context in contemporary life.
I first came into contact with Nonviolent Communication in 2001. For me this profound process offered me so much insight into why we human beings sometimes struggle to understand one another. More importantly it offered me practical and easily accessible tools to live by, to understand myself and others. I have now integrated Nonviolent Communication into my public trainings, education and parenting work and offer this power model across the UK and internationally.
Open trainings for members of the public

I have 30 years experience in education, parenting and consultancy.
I am part of a global network of trainers certified to share Nonviolent Communication. Nonviolent Communication [NVC] is an internationally recognised process used in more than 30 countries in homes, companies, schools, prisons, charities, healthcare settings, social services, counselling and peace work with people of all ages.
As a facilitator, teacher and trainer I consider my strengths to be in the areas of empathic communication, peace building, creative conflict resolution and supporting people in finding meaning, joy and purpose in their lives. I am passionate about what I offer and am lucky enough to see my work as play!
